چکیده

We report on a 151-ks net exposure Suzaku observation of the narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxy Mrk 335. The 0.5–40 keV spectrum contains a broad Fe line, a strong soft excess below about 2 keV and a Compton hump around 20–30 keV. We find that a model consisting of a power law and two reflectors provides the best fit to the time-averaged spectrum. In this model, an ionized, heavily blurred, inner reflector produces most of the soft excess, while an almost neutral outer reflector (outside ∼ 40rg) produces most of the Fe line emission. The spectral variability of the observation is characterized by spectral hardening at very low count rates. In terms of our power-law + two-reflector model it seems like this hardening is mainly caused by pivoting of the power law. The rms spectrum of the entire observation has the curved shape commonly observed in active galactic nuclei, although the shape is significantly flatter when an interval which does not contain any deep dip in the light curve is considered. We also examine a previous 133-ks XMM–Newton observation of Mrk 335. We find that the XMM–Newton spectrum can be fitted with a similar two-reflector model as the Suzaku data and we confirm that the rms spectrum of the observation is flat. The flat rms spectra, as well as the highenergy data from the Suzaku PIN detector, disfavour an absorption origin for the soft excess in

An XMM - Newton observation of the Narrow Line Seyfert 1 Galaxy , Markarian 896

XMM-Newton observations of the NLS1 Markarian 896 are presented. Over the 2– 10 keV band, an iron emission line, close to 6.4 keV, is seen. The line is just resolved and has an equivalent width of ∼ 170 eV. The broad-band spectrum is well modelled by a power law slope of Γ ∼ 2.03, together with two blackbody components to fit the soft X-ray excess. Using a more physical two-temperature Comptoni...

Distributed Reflector Structure and Diffraction Grating Structure in the Solar Cell

Today, due to qualitative growth and scientific advances, energy, especially electricity is increasingly needed by human society. One of the almost endless and pure energy which have been paid attention over the years is the solar energy. Solar cells directly convert solar energy into electrical energy and are one of the main blocks of photovoltaic systems. Significant improvement has been made...

We present highlights from a series of four simultaneous Suzaku/Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer (RXTE) observations of the black hole candidate Cyg X-1. We first briefly summarize several key results from our decade long RXTE monitoring campaign (which to date contains over 250 observations). We then comment on challenges of analyzing the Suzaku data, i.e., improving the aspect correction beyond th...

Suzaku VIEW OF THE Swift/BAT ACTIVE GALACTIC NUCLEI (I): SPECTRAL ANALYSIS OF SIX AGNS AND EVIDENCE FOR TWO TYPES OF OBSCURED POPULATION

We present a systematic spectral analysis with Suzaku of six AGNs detected in the Swift/BAT hard X-ray (15–200 keV) survey, Swift J0138.6–4001, J0255.2–0011, J0350.1–5019, J0505.7–2348, J0601.9–8636, and J1628.1–5145. This is considered to be a representative sample of new AGNs without X-ray spectral information before the BAT survey. We find that the 0.5–200 keV spectra of these sources can be...

Spectral energy distribution of markarian 501: Quiescent state versus extreme outburst

The very high energy (VHE; E > 100 GeV) blazar Markarian 501 (Mrk 501) has a well-studied history of extreme spectral variability and is an excellent laboratory for studying the physical processes within the jets of active galactic nuclei. However, there are few detailed multiwavelength studies of Mrk 501 during its quiescent state, due to its low luminosity. A short-term multiwavelength study ...
